You can select from several options using the 11s. These include Auto Single Room Spot, and Edge. There's also a Manual mode that lets you use the buttons for direction on the remote control to tell it to go backwards, forwards left or right.
The 11s is great in removing large debris and fine dust from hard floors. However, it struggles to gather small particles such as baking soda. It is also good in removing hair from pets.
It's not as sophisticated as some other robot vacuums, and relies instead on bounce navigation instead of more sophisticated mapping software. This means that it bounces around the floor until its battery runs out, which may not be ideal for homes with a lot of furniture or that are particularly dusty.
The 11s dirt compartment has an easy-to-empty top that is easy to access. The filter is designed to be cleaned once a week and replaced every six months or more often.
